University of San Francisco

JP did his first two years of undergrad at the University of San Francisco (USF) where he studied political science, philosophy (the Great Books at the St. Ignatius Institute), religion, liberal arts, and international management.  

The University of San Francisco (USF) is a Jesuit university in San Francisco, California. The school's main campus is located on a 55-acre setting between the Golden Gate Bridge and Golden Gate Park.

JP was the Eminent Chronicler of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity whose creed of the True Gentleman can be found below.  

One of JP's Theology professors was Father Joseph Fessio SJ.  In 1975, he earned his doctorate in theology from the University of Regensburg, West Germany. His thesis director was Joseph Ratzinger, now Pope-emeritus Benedict XVI.
